Debora Mottahedeh, DO
Debora Mottahedeh, DO is a board certified physiatrist at NAPPM’s Westbury location. Dr. Mottahedeh specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation and interventional pain management. She attended New York University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts. Dr. Mottahedeh went on to receive her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency, where she served as chief resident and interventional spine and sports medicine fellowship at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY.
Dr. Mottahedeh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She practices a modern and comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pain. Dr. Mottahedeh’s goal is to restore function and reduce pain by designing a treatment program based on her patient’s needs. She is heavily involved in the community, currently serving as the Chairman, Board of Directors for Two by Twelve, a volunteer organization providing arts and music programming to children and families facing serious illness. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
