Adam E. Shestack, MD

Adam E. Shestack, MD, is the Director of Outpatient Pain Medicine Services at Syosset, Franklin and Plainview Hospitals. He also serves as a pain management specialist at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.

Dr. Shestack attended the University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate studies, where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration. Upon graduating, he went on to complete his pre-medical training in the Postbaccalaureate program at Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. Shestack received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine, where he graduated with high honors. After medical school, he completed an internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Medical Center, followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine in the Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine fellowship at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial-Sloane Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Shestack is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management.

Dr. Shestack is an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Pain Society, American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association.
